Forklift

A forklift lifts and moves pallets around a warehouse, yard or production hall. The big call is the drive: electric for indoor work, diesel or LPG outdoors and wherever capacity matters most. Lift capacity usually runs from 2.5 to a dozen-plus tonnes.

When you inspect one, look hard at the mast, chains and fork carriage — that is where the repair money goes. The best-kept Toyota, Linde and Still units come out of Germany and Japan; cheaper, newer models turn up in China. Tell us the capacity and lift height you need and we will find one.
